Green wine Certificate
Certified Ecological Wine - Production Process & Consumer Benefit
The wine is good from an organoleptic point of view
A panel of experts verifies the correspondence of the wines to the highest organoleptic standards
A panel of experts discards wines with organoleptic defects or that do not respect the organoleptic profile established by the DOC regulations.
Respect for consumer health – Without added sulphites
Sulphites are preservatives, which are generally added to musts and wines, to avoid the development of unwanted organoleptic characteristics.
To produce the “Green Wine" you use the "Vinificatore continuo Botèn” (patented) which exploits the selective antiseptic properties of alcohol, naturally produced by fermentation, to avoid organoleptic deviations.
Respect for the environment - Eco-sustainable viticulture
Grapes are used that are produced in compliance with the "National Quality System of Integrated Production" specification; this system aims to reduce the use of pesticides and to promote biodiversity.
Reduction of pesticides:
- Pesticides with active ingredients aimed at the disease agent are used; broad-spectrum pesticides are excluded;
- Treatments are performed only when, based on technical-scientific forecasts, there is a real risk of the onset of the disease;
- The fungicide is distributed in a targeted manner on the plants to be protected and is not dispersed into the environment (recovery atomizers are used).
Respect for biodiversity:
- Weeds in the under-row area are controlled only with mechanical processing; herbicides are excluded;
- The inter-rows are mowed alternately, to allow insects to take refuge in the inter-rows not affected by mowing.
